The colour  on the car is Porsche Continental Orange, but inside the coupe, and under the car, is painted with Epoxy. Great thanks for an exellent paintjob to the local spraying shop  "Bil og Industrilakkering"

susp21.JPG (47698 byte) SUSPENSION MODIFICATIONS:

In front, the struts are modified Alpina's from a 2002tii with negativ camber. The rear trailing arms are modified E21 323i's, and the diff and output shafts are from E21 too.

brakes24.JPG (181754 byte) BRAKES:

drive21.JPG (196563 byte) DRIVELINE: GETRAG 240 AND e21 DIFF

The gearbox is the Getrag 240 5-speed from E30 and E28's with the M10 engine. It requires some modifications in the chassis to get it in place.

el05.JPG (77494 byte) ELECTRIC:

All the wires, switches, relays and the fusebox are removed from the car. The car wil be fitted with an EFI management system, and therefore I decided to rebuild all the electric wiring in the car. The battery is moved to the trunk, and the fusebox located inside the glove box

M10TURBO ENGINE:

The original M10 2,0tii will be totally rebuilt to be equipped with the BSE EFI system and the Garett T3 turbo. I'll try to keep, and rebuild the original tii intake manifold to make the engine look most like the original.

cooling11.JPG (41620 byte) COOLING SYSTEM:

The engine modifications demands cold air from an intercooler, oilcooler for the motoroil, and higher capacity on the cooling system. From the start, the plan was to use an E36 radiator, but there are some new things coming up. More info later.

style22.JPG (36465 byte) BODYWORK DETAILS:

It's quite fantastic that originalparts, that was made for a car produced in just 1600 examples (2002turbo), are still available as stock at the BMW dealers. My car will look just like the original 2002turbo when finished, exept for the paint and interior.

prime24.JPG (49878 byte) PRE - PAINTING WORK:

After a lot of grinding and coating, this chapter is now finished.... I hope!

rust01.JPG (71149 byte) PICS FROM RUST AND RUST REPAIR:

The frontpiece and the front floors were the most rustdamaged places, but not more than we could fix. The frontfenders, doors and frontpiece were purchased new from the local BMW dealer.

strip09.JPG (99888 byte) ALL STRIPPED CLEAN:

All removable parts were removed, and it's just the clean shell left before repairing the rust damages.
